Terms of Service
Last updated: 17 May 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account on AppliTrackr or by using any part of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and LazyByte – Wojciech Rygorowicz("we", "us", "our"), a sole trader registered in Poland (NIP: 7551941162, REGON: 524940097), the operator of AppliTrackr.
2. Service Description
AppliTrackr is a web-based job-search management tool. The Service includes the following features, which may evolve over time:
- Job Application Tracker — log, track, and organise your job applications with status tracking, salary data, and notes.
- CV Builder — create, customise, and download professional CVs in PDF format.
- Document Vault — store cover letters, certificates, and other job-search documents.
- Analytics — view statistics about your applications and CV performance.
- Dashboard Notes — keep personal notes and reminders within the app.
The Service is a tool to assist your job search. We make no guarantees about outcomes such as interview invitations or job offers.
3. Account Registration and Security
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. You agree to keep your registration details up to date.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised use of your account.
- One account per person. You may not share or transfer your account to another person.
4. Service Plans
4.1 Free Plan
The Free plan is available to all registered users at no cost, indefinitely. It includes a generous set of features with the following limits:
- Up to 2 CV documents
- Up to 50 job applications
- Up to 5 vault files
- Up to 5 dashboard notes
- Full access to PDF export and analytics
4.2 Premium Plan
The Premium plan is a paid monthly subscription that raises the above limits and unlocks additional features:
- Up to 10 CV documents
- Unlimited job applications
- Up to 30 vault files
- Up to 30 dashboard notes
Current pricing is shown on the pricing page and within the application. On expiry or cancellation, your data is preserved in read-only mode; you may delete it at any time.
5. Payments and Subscriptions
5.1 Payment processing
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., a third-party payment processor. By subscribing to Premium, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. We do not store your card number or full payment credentials — these are handled exclusively by Stripe.
5.2 Billing cycle
The Premium subscription is billed monthly starting from the date of your first payment. Your subscription renews automatically on the same date each month unless you cancel before the renewal date.
5.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time via Settings → Billing → Manage subscription. Upon cancellation, Premium access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial-month refunds are issued upon cancellation.
5.4 Price changes
We may change the subscription price. We will notify you at least 30 days in advance via the email address associated with your account. If you do not cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect, your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the new price.
5.5 Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
Under EU consumer protection law, you ordinarily have the right to withdraw from a contract concluded at a distance within 14 days without giving any reason. However, by subscribing to Premium and confirming that you wish Premium access to begin immediately, you expressly request that the Service starts before the 14-day withdrawal period expires and acknowledge that you consequently lose the right of withdrawal once your Premium access has been activated.
If you have subscribed but have not used any Premium features within 14 days, you may contact us to discuss a refund. We will consider such requests on a good-faith, case-by-case basis.
5.6 Refunds
Except as required by applicable law or as described in Section 5.5 above, subscription fees are non-refundable. We do not issue refunds for unused portions of a billing period.
5.7 Failed payments
If a payment fails, Stripe will retry the charge according to its standard retry schedule. If payment cannot be successfully collected, your subscription will be cancelled and your account will revert to the Free plan. Your data will not be deleted as a result of a payment failure.
6. Third-Party Authentication
AppliTrackr may offer the option to log in using your Google account ("Sign in with Google"). This feature may not be available at all times.
- If you choose to log in with Google, your use of Google's authentication service is governed by Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which you should review independently.
- When you log in via Google, we receive only basic profile information — your email address and name — to create or identify your AppliTrackr account. We do not receive access to your Google contacts, documents, or other Google data.
- We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC. Google is a trademark of Google LLC.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Upload or transmit files containing malware, viruses, or any harmful code.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, its servers, or any related systems.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Service.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to extract data from the Service in bulk.
- Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with usage limits or freemium restrictions.
- Share your account credentials with third parties or allow others to access your account.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without prior notice, depending on the severity of the violation.

8.1 Ownership
You retain full ownership of all content you create or upload to AppliTrackr — including CVs, job application records, vault files, and notes.
8.2 Licence to us
By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display your content solely to the extent necessary to operate and provide the Service to you. We do not use your content for any other purpose, including advertising or training AI models.
8.3 Your responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of all content you enter. Do not include personal data of other individuals (e.g. referee contact details) without their consent.
8.4 Deletion
When you delete your account, all content associated with it is permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, interface, code, branding ("AppliTrackr"), and all non-user-generated content, is owned by LazyByte – Wojciech Rygorowicz and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

11. Disclaimers
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
- We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability.
- We are not responsible for any outcomes resulting from your use of CVs or job applications created with the Service, including but not limited to the outcome of job applications, interviews, or hiring decisions.
- We do not review the content of CVs or other materials you create. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your CVs are accurate and appropriate.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total subscription fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b)USD 10.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunity, or loss of goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Consumer rights: Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable EU or Polish law. Your statutory rights are not affected.
13. Termination
13.1 By you
You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Danger Zone → Delete my account. Deletion is permanent. Your content is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.
13.2 By us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. For serious violations (e.g. security threats, illegal use), we may act without prior notice. In other cases, we will attempt to notify you in advance. If you are on a paid plan and we terminate your account without cause, we will refund any unused prepaid subscription time.
13.3 Effect of termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, and 15 survive termination.
14. Modifications to the Service and Terms
14.1 Service changes
We may modify, add, or remove features of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for changes that materially affect how you use the Service, where practicable.
14.2 Terms changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. For material changes, we will notify you via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service before the effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Poland. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of habitual residence.
